Apertura-Imaging is the input system of imaging information. The system can read
more than 40 types of imaging file types. The program has integrated Twain and HotConnect
communication and with digital cameras and scanners. After the operator has selected
the patient from the central database (EYE-DB), the program reads the stored images
for the patient. When the program has acquired image information from files, scanners
or digital fundus cameras, the operator can store the images to the central database
(EYE-DB). The program compresses the stored images by jpeg compression.
